Forensic Engineering

Forensic engineering consists of comprehensive investigations of a building or building components, which have failed and consequently led to damage. Cornelius Consulting utilizes a comprehensive methodology for investigating and evaluating failures. Utilizing the data obtained from investigations in a systematic process the causation of the failure(s) is determined. Further investigations and / or data can help to provide the extent of damages from a failure. These opinions are then utilized to assist in legal cases and/or create a repair strategy. Forensic engineering is the backbone of Cornelius Consulting’s practice.
